The Virtue of Nationalism by Yoram Hazony

Yoram Hazony's book is a must read! Just added it to my list.

Hazony argues that we will be forced to choose between a world of independent states, or a renewal of universal empire-in the form of the European Union or American hegemony. The Virtue of Nationalism makes clear that anyone who values their freedoms should fight for a world of nations.”

But Yoram’s book is much more! 

He highlights the remarkable fulfillment of prophecy that we are so blessed to be witnessing in our time and brings optimism and hope to a world which can seem so dark and lost at this time, especially if you are trapped in the echo-chamber of the MSM and their Social Media ‘Influencers’.

Yoram makes some amazing claims such as that "Israel is a conservative democracy ... and society" and  "In comparison with what's happening in America and the West Israel IS a rock of stability and sanity!"

He argues that the great success of Israel today is because it is a country that looks to its past to write its future (and what a past)!

Along with much anecdotal  evidence, he quotes from the great prophets to highlight that we truly are in the midst of a very special time, when  the world’s nations and peoples will at last turn to and learn from the Jewish people, from Israel:

“Now it will come about that in the last days the mountain of the house of the Lord will be established as the chief of the mountains, And will be raised above the hills; And all the nations will stream to it. Many peoples will go and say, “Come, let’s go up to the mountain of Yehovah, to the house of the God of Ya‘akov! He will teach us about his ways, and we will walk in his paths.” For out of Zion will go forth Torah, the word of Yehovah from Jerusalem.” - Isaiah 2:2-3

“Nations are going to stream from the ends of the earth to learn from the Jews.” 

14 Therefore,’ says Yehovah, ‘the day will come when people will no longer swear, “As Yehovah, lives, who brought the people of Israel out of the land of Egypt,”

15 but, “As Yehovah,  lives, who brought the people of Israel out of the land to the north and out of all the countries where he drove them”; for I will bring them back to their own land, which I gave to their ancestors. …

19 Yehovah, my strength, my fortress, my refuge in time of trouble, the nations will come to you from the ends of the earth, saying, “Our ancestors inherited nothing but lies, futile idols, completely useless.” – Jeremiah 16:14 – 19

“Thus says the Lord of hosts, ‘In those days ten men from all the nations will grasp the garment of a Jew, saying, “Let us go with you, for we have heard that God is with you.”’ – Zechariah 8:23

Yoram states that: 
"Every single thing that is politically incorrect is in the Hebrew Scriptures (the Old Testament) ... it's all concentrated in one book! …

(Christian leaders) are saying they have lost - even their own children. (They) are coming to Jews and saying that they need to learn Torah!"

"(Conservative leaders) are now saying they need to Torah as their standard! ... we want a country like Israel!"
